This is Sheeba, an 11 year old female that came to us when her previous owner was unwell and unable to care for her. Sheeba is house trained and is good with most dogs but would be better with older children. Although Sheeba is older, she is still full of life and loves to walk and play.

Rex is a 6 year old male that is looking for a new home after arriving with us as a stray. He is a nice dog that seems fine with other dogs and would be fine with older children. Rex is very sociable and loves to go for walks, making him an ideal pet for most homes.

Prancer is a 2 year old Staffordshire bull terrier that came into Bristol Dogs Home as a stray. He is a great dog with people, but he does not like other dogs and would even need to be muzzled when out on a walk. Prancer is a nice dog in every other way and is okay with older children. He is also good on his lead and is very affectionate. If you can offer Prancer a loving home, please come and see him out of his kennel.

Meet Pepe, a very sweet 11 year old Collie type that is looking for her final retirement home. She is a lovely dog that is house trained and is okay with older children. Pepe is hoping for a quiet home in which she can relax and enjoy her last few years, after a lifetime of being neglected and not cared for properly. Pepe loves to walk and is still playful and very affectionate. This is a wonderful dog that can offer a home much love and enjoyment.

Poor old Max looks sad in this photo as he is still waiting for someone to offer him a loving home. He is 7 years old and is hoping to have a family of his own before Christmas..... Max is a good dog that is house trained and is okay with older children. He is still a strong dog despite his age, so will need an experienced home that can walk him. Max is a very affectionate dog and once he knows you is always pleased to see you and is never short of a wagging tail.

Meet Lottie, a 2 year old Rottweiler that came into us as a stray. She is a nice dog but she is very strong….so you will need to be too if you are looking at her. Lottie is very playful and loves people, but will need to be placed with older children and without dogs. Lottie loves to walk but her favourite thing in the whole world is food.

This is Lilly, a very special dog with very special needs. She is 2 years old and came to us in very poor condition. She is now looking better, but her previous life has left many emotional scars. Lilly is looking for a very experienced home that can handle the fact that she is extremely nervous.
She will need a home as the only pet and without children of any age. Lilly only trusts people that she knows well, so it will take her a long time to show a potential adopter any love. This is not the dog for you unless you have untold patience, time and care. |

This is Jake, an 8 year old German shepherd dog that is looking for an experienced home in which he can live out his final years. Jake is house trained and is a very loving dog. He is very strong on his lead and would need to be placed without young children. Poor Jake does not like to be left alone, so will need a home where someone can be his companion for most of the day.

This is Brody, a 3 year old male that arrived at the Dogs Home as a stray. He is a strong dog that would need a home that is prepared to train him to appreciate all his good qualities. Brody is excellent with people, but as he is so strong, will need to be placed without young children. He is not keen on other dogs so will also have to be re homed on his own. This handsome chap is Bishop, a 6 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier that is looking for a new home after arriving with us as a stray. He is a very laid back dog, that would be perfect for most homes. He is okay with older children but is not keen on other dogs. Bishop is well trained and is very clean in his kennel, so will hopefully settle into a new home without too much trouble.
