25/07/2010 - Annual Dog Show & Fun Day

Once again the biggest event in our calendar, the Fun Day & Dog Show, kindly sponsored by StandFast Security Systems and Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants, will be taking place at Whitehall RFC (Foundry Lane, Speedwell) on Sunday 25th July.

This popular annual event is a great day out for the whole family, both two legs and four! It will be a day full of attractions with market stalls selling a host of gifts and crafts; a Kids Zone with inflatables, rides, face painting and traditional games; entertaining displays and demonstrations including dog agility; a selection of tasty refreshments; live music and of course the dog show itself with our regional ‘Rescue Dog of the Year’.

So please come along with your canine companion and help us continue to care for local animals in need - you’d be crazy to miss it!

Doors open at 10.30am until 4pm. Entry is £2 for adults and Children get in for FREE! There is also free parking available.

Please Note: Due to legislative changes, dogs born after April 2007 which have had their tails docked for other than medical reasons cannot be entered into the show. We apologise to owners for any disappointment this may cause.
