To report a case of cruelty or neglect to the National RSPCA Inspectors:

Call the RSPCA’s National Helpline on 0300 1234 999

Listen carefully to the options – you will need to choose option 3 then option 1 to be put through to an RSPCA advisor who will take details of your complaint.

When your own pet (or an animal you are responsible for) is ill or injured

You need to call your own veterinary surgery for advice and attention.

Outside normal working hours, all veterinary surgeons will provide access to a veterinary emergency service, so listen carefully to any answer machine messages.

If you are not registered with a veterinary surgery, you can find telephone numbers for local veterinary surgeons in the telephone directory or use Find-a-Vet on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons website.

 The RSPCA Bristol Animal Clinic provides low cost veterinary services for people on a low income.
